This week at Crusade

If you weren't at Providence on Thursday, you missed an excellent message from Dr. Alvin Reid on living a life sent by God. We'll have the podcast up soon on our website so be sure to keep an eye on our podcast page. If you want to hear more from Dr. Reid, check out his blog (www.alvinreid.com) or Twitter (@alvinreid).

This week we've got a couple of exciting things going on... first, Oxford University graduate Dr. Michael Green will be speaking this week at Primetime! Dr. Green has written quite a few books on Christian evangelism and apologetics, and seeks to help believers better understand the Gospel and share it with others. We'll be meeting in Reynolds at 8pm!

Friday night is our 2nd annual Girls' Night In! We blogged about this earlier this week so be sure to check that out here.

Also, Spring Break is coming quicker than you might think... only 5 weeks left! We're offering trips to Panama City Beach, New York City, and Chicago. Signups are closing fast, so check out our website for more information!

Hope you have a fantastic (homework-free) weekend!

Girls' Night In

Ladies... our 2nd annual Girls' Night In is on Friday, February 4th at 8pm! We'll be having it at Hope Community Church (directions here) from 8pm Friday night through Saturday morning... here's what you need to know:

- Since it's a sleepover you'll need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow
- The more board games the better! We'll also have movies and crafts.
- There will be a talent show so the time to start planning is NOW!
- Cost: nothing! However, we do ask that you help us out by bringing some...
- Food: if your last name starts with A through I, bring a 2-liter drink; J through Q, a sweet snack; and R through Z a salty snack.

We have a Facebook Event set up so be sure to RSVP there, or send an e-mail to Cameron Malpass if you have more questions. We look forward to seeing you on February 4th!

Our first post!

Hey everybody!

Hopefully today finds you awake, energized, and ready to finish off another abbreviated week at school. If not, may we suggest getting more sleep, drinking coffee, and/or changing your major away from the hardest possible on campus :)

To better serve you, we'll be using this blog each week to get you more information about what's going on with Crusade, from more information about our Thursday night meetings to special events (Barn Party, Semiformal, etc) to Winter Conference, Spring Break, and Summer Projects!  If there's something you want to know more about, just let us know in the comments section.

Next week we'll be meeting at Providence Baptist Church at 8pm... more details coming soon. See you then!
